Support Family Caregivers in One Big Beautiful Bill with the Credit for Caring Act!

Family caregivers are the backbone of our communities, and it’s time they receive the support they deserve. We advocate for Congress to pass the bipartisan Credit for Caring Act.  83% of registered voters aged 40+—across party lines—support a federal tax credit for family caregivers, according to our latest poll. This is an issue we can all agree on!

The cost of care is skyrocketing. And the burden is shifting away from insurance payments onto the consumers who can least afford the increases. Without a system wide overhaul to address the financial stress, the next best approach are tax credits. Twenty-three states have caregiver tax credits active now however each state is taking a different approach. The federal Credit for Caring Act for a national fair tax credit is ready for passage.
