Happy Holidays!

I cannot wrap my mind around the reality that the year is coming to a close yet here we are. My Lat blog of the year and I find myself reflecting on the essence of this journey. Reflecting back, this year has been a blessing through the power of friendship, the strength of a shared vision with channel partners, and the enduring spirit of growing a business with passion and purpose on a shoestring budget.

Stop and Breathe

Our modern lives are busy and sometimes feel like we lack control as we wait for the next shoe to drop.  Do me a favor, please. Stop for a moment and take a deep breath. I want to thank you. I thank you for choosing a career of service.  This work is not easy. In fact, you stand as a pillar of compassion, providing service and support to those who need it most. Thank you.

Thank You!

My heart is filled with profound gratitude for your time, energy, and sacrifice improving the lives of vulnerable people. I mean, certainly you do not do if for the large sums of money like a professional athlete or celebrity. Our pay is the intrinsic rewards helping others.  I want to take this moment to express my deepest appreciation that we travel this care journey together, you can take that to the bank (if only).

Our Work Changes Lives and Communities

Your selfless act embodies the true spirit of this season. Your work is a beacon of hope for vulnerable people everywhere.  Together, we have the power to transform our work so that social care interventions get the reimbursement from insurance, funding from governments, and attention that our work changes lives and communities.

Pass the Credit for Caring Act

Please join me in advocating for Credit for Caring Act passage when congress re-convenes. It is time that we shout and stomp our feet to advance the legislation for a federal tax credit for unpaid family caregivers. By supporting this act, we can ensure that caregivers receive a fraction of the financial relief they deserve. In addition, I ask you to support the recommendation of the RAISE Family Caregivers Act council for policy changes across federal government.

Here’s to You

I raise my glass to you and toast to a season of joy, gratitude, and the unwavering belief that, through shared moments of care, we can make a positive impact in the lives of those we touch. Thank you for being loyal reader of the Credit for Caring blog.

Happy Holidays

I wish  you safe travels and holidays filled with love, hope, and the warmth of cherished connections.
