Finding Help in My Community

Home and community-based organizations (HCBO)  are privately funded business but many receive a wide range of government-provided or government-funded programs and services that are intended to support and assist individuals and families.  In fact, integrating healthcare, social services, and housing support, HCBOs create a safety net that prevents crises, improves health outcomes, and enhances quality of life. These organizations are essential in bridging the gap between institutional care and independent living, ensuring that individuals receive the support they need in a dignified and cost-effective manner. These organizations provide essential support to vulnerable populations, helping them maintain stability, improve health outcomes, and avoid costly institutional care.
