The USA House and Senate’s federal budget reconciliation process is underway.  Family caregivers deserve to tax credit like the child tax credit. There are over 50 million American unpaid family caregivers struggling to care for disabled and elder family and friends. Family caregivers are draining their savings, retirement, and rainy day funds to cover the enormous cost of care. We need the Credit for Caring tax credit to help us continue to afford to care for our loved ones. HR 2036 and SB 925  are ready for a vote. I am asking for your powerful voice and vote to get us this tax credit as suffer through cuts to Medicaid, Social Security, and Medicare.  Members of Congress, can we count on you to include the Credit for Caring Act in the reconciliation process?
